Writing table in the Federal style of Boston, circa 1818-1819, which was probably used in the New Hampshire State House from 1819 on and possibly by the President of the Senate. Top back with six drawers, with drawer fronts and center curved section with tiger maple fronts and four fluted pilasters. Optional green felt writing surface above two cockbeaded drawers, with the fronts in tiger maple, fluted pilasters at the top of the front legs and four turned and fluted legs with turned ball feet. Shown in Mahogany. Style FDS-22.
